Meet Joan Ketels, President and Training Solutions Specialist

A highly successful teacher, trainer, administrator and entrepreneur, Joan has spent more than 25 years developing her expertise in training and development. She has a positive genius for ‘seeing around corners,’ and making connections that help people not only discover but implement efficiencies in their organizations.

With an instinct for picking out future trends, she consistently keeps her clients ahead of the curve in the most demanding environments. With an obvious passion for advancing the skills needed for today’s creative workforce, Joan expands her client’s organizational capacity with programs that deliver higher productivity by more satisfied employees.

Her penchant for customizing programs to meet highly specialized needs started with her own MA. She crossed disciplines and departmental boundaries to build the knowledge and skills she uses every day. While Joan “cut her teeth” in the training industry during the late 80’s as Director of Distribution and Training for a past president of the National Speaker’s Association, she continues to hone her skills with an active program of research, education, service and professional associations.

Joan is an accomplished musician, avid fisherman, wife of Denton, average golfer, and a poet. She still has aspirations to become a world-class photographer of trees or a stand-up comedian, perhaps both. Her greatest joy is as mother of three grown children ("I am in awe of them!") and as grandmother to Sophia and Grace.
